drh ea6788322e Never use strlen(). Use our own internal sqlite3Strlen30() which is 
guaranteed to never overflow an integer.  Additional explicit casts to
avoid nuisance warning messages. (CVS 6007)

drh 633e6d57d9 Implement the "lookaside" memory allocation cache. Use of this cache makes 
the speed1.test script run about 15% faster.  Added new interfaces to
control the cache. (CVS 5488)

drh b1fdb2adea Get rid of OP_Dup, OP_MemStore, OP_MemLoad, and OP_MemMove. Replace 
with OP_Copy, OP_SCopy, and OP_Move.  Add the infrastructure for
operation properties in1, in2, in3, out2, and out3 but do not yet

drh 0a07c107a6 Registers (aka memory cells) in the VM are now numbered starting with 1

drh 66a5167b47 Refactoring the VM. The P3 parameter is changed to P4. A P5 parameter is 
added (though not currently used.)  Add routines sqlite3VdbeAddOpX() where

drh d4e70ebd6f Begin setting a foundation on which to convert the VM from a stack-based 
to a register-based machine.  Everything is still mostly stack based with
this check-in.  This change merely begins adding infrastructure to support
a register-based architecture. (CVS 4652)

drh 43617e9ab9 Code changes resulting from Coverity analysis. 
http://scan.coverity.com/  Found 1 potential segfault in sqlite3_mprintf().
Also 2 failures to fclose() following a malloc() failure.  And lots of
cases where unnecessary conditionals could be removed from the code. (CVS 3126)

drh 6f7adc8a80 Automatically deallocate thread-specific data when it is no longer 
being used.  Ticket #1601.  Also implemented the suggestion of
ticket #1603. Memory management is now off by default at compile-time.
The sqlite3_enable_memory_management() API has been removed. (CVS 2919)
